Living in the Rockies is a wonderful experience. The air is crystal clean, the views of the mountains unsurpassed, the fishing incredible, hunting perfect, and hiking.... Oh the hiking! Anyway, this is me at my little workshop where I produce my art. It's comfy, cozy and right behind the house. We plant wild flowers every year all around the yard, and this last year I planted 12 pine trees, so that in 5 years or so I'll have my own forest surrounding the cabin.
My wife, Charlotte, is standing next to me on the front porch there. She is very tolerant of sawdust trailing in the house all the time, wood stain everywhere and my all-night stints in the workshop. But she does complain that she never gets to have my artwork on our cabin walls for very long. They are mostly displayed at galleries or on the customer's walls... so I'd better get busy and make some for us too!
