Hyrum Smith and Brigham Young

The art portrait of Hyrum Smith, Joseph Smith's brother was also taken from the pencil sketch of Dee Jay Bawden. Approx. 100 pieces. It is an oval background of stained pine, approx 15 inches. The jacket is cut from black walnut. The Brigham Young piece was modeled from a picture of when he was in the Council of the 12 and had yet to cross the U.S. to Utah. I know, I always thought of Brigham with his beard, but the customer enjoyed this picture, so now so do I. His eyes make the piece. His jacket is black walnut and shirt cut out of maple. This one is approx. 2 feet tall by 18 inches wide. This was mounted on barnwood background, planed smooth so the colors would stand out.
