Eagle Warrior

This one was an experiment that turned out quite stunning! The background was a large old log I found in the Idaho Wilderness. I carved out the back to lighten it and hang it on the wall. The bugs had eaten their paths all around the outer part of the log, which is dynamic as there is not one inch uncovered! I cut the Indian approximately 4 feet tall and mounted a piece of driftwood by his feet with moss for a place to stand him on. The eagle, one of my favorite birds, is being grabbed. His wingspan is over 2 feet long. It is an interesting piece because it is the tallest I have done, and rather unique. It has approx. 500 pieces.
