The man in the top left portrait had thick glasses. The bottom of the frame was held together by fish line and he was concerned about his eyes looking wrong in the wood portrait. I assured him it would be fine, simply left out the lenses, and scrolled the frames! He was stunned at how realistic and good it looked. He tells me it is a fabulous conversation piece and virtually everyone who comes in their house sees it and comments on how neat the idea is. Approx. has 250 pieces. The second couple built a new house, and he brought me the cedar used as wall covering in his living room to use as the background so it would match. Again, the portraits are in maple, which gives me excellent lights as well as taking stain very well for my dark areas. The lady was so ecstatic (her husband's words) that she took down their big main picture over their fireplace and put this portrait there instead. Fun! Approx. 250 pieces. These portraits are around 2 feet high and 1 1/2 feet wide, unless two people are in them, making them fairly square.
