Birds

CLICK on pictures above for close up and detailed look at art. Pictures below are as is.

Eaglehead approx. 11 inches tall.

Flying ducks, approx. 1 1/2 feet long. Acrylic painted since they are wood ducks. mounted on natural slab wood from burl.

The eagle very top of page is one of my very favorites! This is about 3 feet tall, and mounted on a natural piece of bark I foind while fishing. The next two are also interesting. The slab is approx 5 feet tall, with two eagles circling around. I have a close up which I have used as a business card (the 2nd picture) so you can see the detail. The 4th picture over was mounted on Idaho Ryolite (ancient volcanic ash hardened into rock over time) and is approx. 1 and 1/2 feet tall. The picture with me on the side was my very first eagle composition, mounted on barnwood, framed in log with eagle feathers on either side (imitation of course, it's illegal to use real eagle feathers!). The quail I mounted in a gun cabinet. It is in an oval approx. 12 inches. The sage grouse is one of the most beautiful of birds, and an excellent Idaho game bird for hunters. This one has over 100 pieces to it, also mounted in a gun cabinet.
