Welcome to my website of beautiful art pieces I have created in hardwood. I 'm excited to show you my unique technique and style of wood art, as well as my first book with world renowned author Patrick Spielman. I've been developing my technique over a number of years, resulting in a wonderful array of realistic compositions including portraits, wildlife, business logos, personal pets and religous themes. Most of the examples here are available for sale, although much of my work is ordered on commission by people from all around the country. My work appears in galleries in West Yellowstone, Montana; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Sun Valley, Idaho; and in many collections in the United States and Europe. I hope you enjoy the view of truly genuine rugged Rocky Mountain Idaho art.

OUR NEW BOOK

Patrick Spielman and I have completed our first book together which is published and available in bookstores. I have introduced my technique from a very beginner basic 5 piece, to an exquisitely crafted 500 piece of art. I take you step by step making this new and exciting technique available to anyone who can scrollsaw, from beginner to expert. I have developed over 30 new pieces for this book. We look forward to your comments and ideas on how we can improve, and what you want to learn to scrollsaw. Please let us know if you would like us to produce a book on helping you scrollsaw actual people. We have been talking about it, and I believe you scroll saw artists around the world can learn to create woodcuts of actual people from photographs. Let us know your thoughts and what you would like us to do next.

The Sheriff is in! This is a portrait I did of a good friend. He is the President of the Idaho Falls Gun club here in town. He looks great as a cowboy/sheriff, so I asked him to let me scrollsaw his portrait. Handsome old cuss ain't he?! I put him on an old wormwood background and barn wood frame which turned out very nice.
